STATEMENT FROM DONKEY BLATHER:
Last week, amid increasing proof about the forged documents I used to support our fraudulent 60 MINUTES story about president Bush's time in the Texas Air National Guard, CBS News vowed to discredit pajama wearing bloggers. These living room Nazis (bloggers) re-examined the documents in question—and their source—vigorously and exposed our fraud. Moreover, we promise these armchair journalists (bloggers) that we would let the American public know that because they wear pajamas their information was a hoax to destroy the reputation to CBS News.
Now, after extensive additional proof that we found on internet blogs, I no longer have the confidence that the American people believe our lies about these documents and if we continue vouching for these documents jurnalistically, we will be made to look more like Democrat operatives. I find we have been exposed as a fraudulent news organization by these lying web blogs. We will create new documents that will prove that the Bush Administration was behind how our source for the documents came into possession of these papers. That, combined with our upcoming 60 MINUTES story, “LIARS ONLINE!” there should be no questions that CBS News has been smeared by the VAST RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY. If I knew then what I know now—I would not have gone ahead with the story as it was aired, and I certainly would not have used the documents in question, we would have spent more time creating the forged documents.
Nevertheless, we did use the poorly forged documents, because we believed the sheeple would believe everything we told them to believe. We made a mistake in judgment, we should have spent more time discrediting the internet Nazis (bloggers) and for that, I am sorry. An error was made, however, because we underestimated the intelligence in the people we were trying to control. We will carry on a CBS News tradition of siding with liberals, and investigative reporting with bias against the war-mongering, racist-Nazis on the right.
Please know that nothing is more important to us than defeating Bush, and to do defeat BUSH, we must lie to manipulate people's trust, and build a false persona that I DONKEY BLATHER and CBS NEWS has a commitment to report fairly and truthfully.
