Israel bombs UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon)

I believe that the UN is an enemy of Israel. So when Justin sent me this story, I'd have to say, "I agree."

(via Right on the Right)

I’d Be Lying If I Said I Cared

The useless United Nations is making a big deal about Israeli missiles that hit a UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) observation post. 4 people died, likely innocent allies, but to be honest, I’d be lying if I said I cared. The UN has only been a thorn in Israel’s side, and it doesn’t matter to me whether or not this was intentional. If I was Israel, I would feel pulled to bomb UNIFIL too, considering they’ve been a useless force that was SUPPOSED to keep Hezbollah in check.

UN: PRECISION MISSILES HIT UNIFIL POST

UN military personnel on the ground along the Israel-Lebanon border say the munitions that hit the UNIFIL position early Wednesday were precision-guided, a UN source told The Jerusalem Post on Thursday.

Furthermore, the source added, the strike came after repeated requests by UNIFIL commanders to the IDF not to strike that specific position.

The IDF spokesman told The Jerusalem Post that the army was looking into the allegations and that it deeply regretted the “tragic death” of the UN personnel.

Sorry, but I’m not real upset. If UNIFIL had done their job, this conflict would never have been allowed to escalate, and Hezbollah would have never been allowed to mass this type of force. You have to realize, that if Hezbollah wasn’t firing at UNIFIL (and they weren’t), UNIFIL must have not been a threat to Hezbollah. That means they weren’t doing their jobs. Bombing an observation post may not have been the most tactful thing, but hey, even Reagan bombed the French Embassy when we went into Libya. Sometimes a message has to get across…
Message received. Dear UN, we are on to you and we will not allow you to aid our enemies.
